Some five hundred years ago a resolute, stubborn, German-born Christian dared to defy the unchallenged supremacy of the Roman papacy and bring the conscience of his people back to the authority of God and Scripture. In 1517, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-five Theses on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences to the church door, a public bulletin board in Wittenberg, Germany. In so doing, Martin Luther shook the foundations of not only his own country, but also the whole European continent then under the shadow and iron-lad authority of the Roman church. This act was the spark that ignited the most significant religious fire in the history of the Christian West.
Among other points of justification, Martin Luther said this in regards to his stand against the sale of indulgences: “If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest expression every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefield besides, is mere flight and disgrace, if he flinches at that point.” With this principle of out-standing character in mind, without question the single greatest battle needing waged today by Christian men and women and their sons and daughters is the preservation of our genetic heritage.
The sin of miscegenation is irreversible. Interracial marriage is the single greatest challenge to the authority of God, Scripture, and the undeniable and empirical proof of nature. God, Scripture, and nature stand against the interracial cohabitation of the distinct races God created. The future of every race is challenged by the irreversible mixing of the genetic bank found in God’s original design for each race. Preserving God’s original design for every separate race is imperative. The genetic heritage of every race is directly impacted by miscegenation. Buzz words such as racist and racism are irrelevant to this discussion. Any attempt to obfuscate the issue with smear words is detrimental to the well-being of every separate race God created.
Every prominent institution in society is busy exerting pressure to celebrate and exalt racial diversity. Christians, non-Christians, churches, educational institutions, television, cinema, and other venues have joined together in endorsing and promoting inter-racial marriage. Any opposing opinion is target for the accusation of racism. If the person opposing interracial mixing happens to be White, that person is charged with white supremacy, plain and simple. The goal of the race baiters is to simply say that anyone who opposes miscegenation must have animosity for other races. The majority of Americans—whatever their feelings may be—have been silenced.
John Piper, a well known advocate of interracial marriage, contends on his website [https://www.desiringgod.org/messages/racial-harmony-and-interracial-marriage] that “interracial marriage is not only permitted by God but is a positive good in our day.” Paul Kurtz, a well-known secular humanist, likewise heartily endorses interracial marriage in the New Humanist, March 1992, Vol. 107, No. 1, pgs 4-6, on “The Limits of Tolerance:” “The highest good, as I see it, is intermarriage between people of different ethnicities, races, religions, and cultures.” These humanist opinions are not a far deviation from the way growing millions of people think—professing Christians and unbelievers.
Not unlike other biblical landmarks set by our Christian fathers and observed for centuries if not millennia, the idea of ethnic integrity is being swept aside in a torrent of humanism. Everything biblical in the path of this humanist tsunami is being swept away as a veritable flood-tide of immorality plunges the Western Anglo-Saxon nations into the darkness of moral pluralism, racial diversity, multiculturalism, and situation ethics.
For centuries, the Anglo-Saxons and kindred peoples have ordered their lives on the foundation of absolute truth as God established it in His Word and confirmed in evidence found throughout the natural world. What former generations declared to be evil is now viewed as good. Interracial marriage is now endorsed as not only normal, but good. What was once abnormal, a perversion, and a deviation from the absolute truth of God as established in Scripture is now presented as something that must have always been true. Indeed, we are following the precise path followed by ancient Israel when Isaiah the Prophet thundered these powerful truths: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Isa. 5:20).
Absolute Truth Is Unchanging
Some advocates for interracial marriage assume that this social phenomenon has always been accepted. Nothing could be further removed from truth. The fact is this: until the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the ban against interracial marriage in 1967 in Loving v. Virginia, it was unlawful and a violation of statutory law for people of two different races to marry in the State of Virginia and throughout most of the United States. For over three hundred and sixty years, from Jamestown’s settlement in 1607 until 1967, statutory law forbade interracial marriage throughout most of the U. S.
There is no long-standing historicity for the sin of miscegenation. Further, the very fact that racial segregation in most every form, including marriage, was openly practiced in parts of the United States for more than three centuries is the historical evidence for the rather brief life of miscegenation. Prior to the late Sixteenth Century, the separate and distinct races remained essentially isolated by continental division, oceans, and other prohibitions. The first historical evidence in the case against interracial marriage is the legislation and subsequent criminalization that grew out of opposition to this sin against God and nature in the early 1600s. The criminalization of human behavior does not occur without popular consent of the governed; this is surely the case for the plethora of legislation that made interracial marriage a criminal act in America.
Laws that carried a strong anti-miscegenation bias surfaced in various American colonies (later states) in the 1600s. Legislation prohibiting marriages between Whites and Blacks became law in Virginia in 1691; Massachusetts in 1705; North Carolina in 1715; South Carolina in 1717; Delaware in 1721; Louisiana in 1724; legislation in other states followed through the Eighteenth Century. Anti-miscegenation legislation appeared in Montana as late as 1909, with popular support of the people of that State. The strong and pervasive feeling against interracial marriage was not based on racial animosity, but had everything to do with having an innate love for one’s own race and pride in the ethnic heritage of one’s birth.
There is no positive fruit that has been born out of miscegenation; indeed, the social fabric, morality, and civility of American society has consistently plummeted with the enforced government integration of the races and the subsequent miscegenation that resulted in the decriminalization of interracial marriage. While these are not entirely attributable to miscegenation, the current moral decadence, societal disintegration, and dysfunction within the family has followed in the wake of government forced integration of the races, the decriminalization of interracial marriage, multiculturalism, situation ethics, and a disconnect from God’s Word and the empirical evidence of nature.
America’s historical paradigm for racial harmony was witnessed in the open practice of separatism. Each distinctive race followed the time-honored practice of racial segregation in marriage, the family, public worship, and other social venues. Geographically, the various races tended to cluster among themselves and refrain from open integration. Not until the mid 1950s did popular opinion tolerate government enforced integration of the races; popular opinion showed no open toleration for interracial marriage until the latter part of the 1900s. It required thousands of armed soldiers to enforce the integration of American schools in the South in the 1950s. From the beginning of America’s historic founding, the social and moral paradigm for this country was established upon the unchanging moral absolutes of God’s Word and the laws of nature.
The Sin of Miscegenation
A divergence of opinion exists between those who support interracial marriage and those who believe that it is sin, i.e., transgression of God’s law (I John 3:4; Romans 3:20; 7:7, etc). The Bible affords no exception in the case against interracial mixing. The law of kind after his kind established some ten times in the first chapter of the Bible is the first fundamental law or principle established in the revelation of God’s Word to His children.
The Word of God knows no middle ground or exception to the law of kind after his kind. All life forms in the plant and animal kingdom and among the distinctive and separate races of biped beings are to reproduce after their own kind. Every act of interracial marriage is wrong. Quite often, the comeback for those who endorse interracial marriage goes something like this: “Is it not better to marry a believer of another race than an unbeliever of the same race?” This question deserves some careful analysis:
- The premise of this question is an admission that while interracial marriage is assumed to be wrong, it would be better to excuse something wrong because marrying an unbeliever is more sinful than miscegenation.
- The person posing this question asks something that is the exception, at least in the framework of their question, to become the new normal and allow something that is admissible only in rare circumstances to become the prevailing rule.
- Why should a biblical Christian entertain marriage with either an unbeliever or with someone of another race? The question raised above assumes that one must choose between two positions, when both are clearly wrong (II Cor. 6:14-18).
The Witness of God, Scripture, and Nature
God, Scripture, and nature clearly demonstrate the wickedness of interracial marriage. The sin of miscegenation is an assault upon the original design of the Creator. Not unlike the great variety one sees among the flowers in a garden, God created variety among the races. The fact that God has specially gifted the various races with a rational soul should encourage preservation of God’s original design — not foster its destruction. Had it been the Creator’s goal to have one coffee-colored race, He could have handily made it so. The fact that He did not is empirical evidence that He wanted variety, not sameness. What God has created, let not man destroy through interracial marriage.
Interracial marriage is an open challenge to the fabric and veracity of God’s Word. God speaks an unchanging truth in His Revelation to His children. His Word is true from the beginning, enduring, timeless, and unchanging (Psa. 119:160; Psa. 100:5; 146:6; Psa. 33:11; John 17:17; II Tim. 3:15-17). The conscience of believers is bound to the authority of God’s Word. Cultures rise and fall, nations and empires appear and disappear, but God’s Word will stand forever as a timeless witness to its author.
In all of nature there is clear demarcation for every kind or species of plant and animal. For thousands of years, plants and animals have demonstrated an enduring faithfulness to the instinctive law of kind after his kind. Many species (kinds) of whales swim in the same water, yet have consistently reproduced after their own kind. The fact that racial diversity and distinctiveness has persisted for millennia is the empirical evidence that interracial marriage is a sin against God’s unchanging and absolute Word.
Accumulated evidence from history, archeology, anthropology, and related branches of science has demonstrated that as far back into the archives of times as science can take us, distinctive and separate races existed on this earth. Advances in travel and movement of the races from their long-established habitats accelerated in the beginning of the Sixteenth Century.
Biblical Witness against Interracial Marriage
Those who want to be fully informed regarding the roots of how interracial marriage became openly tolerated, endorsed, and even encouraged in the latter half of the Twentieth Century need to understand a bit of history. Throughout most of time, interracial marriage has been unknown; yet there are many people today who assume it has always been an accepted tradition. Millions of Americans today well remember when it was simply unthinkable to marry outside one’s own race. Race mixing was not only unacceptable in marriage, but also in the churches of America. Even the U.S. Military had a long history of racial segregation.
The English settlers who settled Jamestown, Virginia in 1607 and for more than three centuries thereafter would not have entertained the idea of using the Bible to support interracial marriage. As late as 1900 and even through the mid 1950s, the idea of supporting interracial marriage from Scripture was largely unknown. It was not until after the floodgates were opened with the integration of the U. S. Military (1948) and the infamous U.S. Supreme Court decision, Brown v. Topeka Board of Education, 1954, that more than three hundred years of segregation of American public schools ended, and then only after the Government sent federal troops to force the integration of Little Rock, Arkansas’s public high schools. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 continued the work of desegregating America. As the news media, educators, and the American clergy pressed for full equality and integration of the races, the long-established walls of racial segregation were torn down and interracial mingling encouraged.
The plunge into open unabashed interracial marriage in the U.S. occurred following the historic U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia, 1967, when the Virginia statutory ban prohibiting a White person from marrying a Black was struck down. Judge Leon Bazile, the presiding judge whose 1959 anti-miscegenation decision was overturned in Loving v. Virginia, 1967, stated his rationale in upholding Virginia’s attempt to prevent interracial marriage: “Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and He placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with His arrangement there would be no cause or such marriages. The fact that He separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix.”
Long before the U.S. Government, particularly the U.S. Supreme Court, ever made serious advances to integrate American society and move toward the day when interracial marriage would be welcome in the American public, there was something occurring within the religious scene of America that greatly impacted the movement toward interracial mingling.
A historic religious movement that had established roots in early 1900 first in Topeka, Kansas then moved into Oklahoma and later Texas and was under the leadership of Charles Parham. It became the launching pad for interracial mingling among the professing Christians of this denomination. While this charismatic, tongue-speaking movement was underway in Texas, a Black preacher by the name of William J. Seymour became involved in the movement and transported the new Pentecostal fever to Los Angeles, California. Some religious authorities trace the real beginning of the Pentecostal revival to a meeting that took place under the leadership of William J. Seymour, a Black Preacher, on April 9, 1906, and continued until about 1915 in Los Angeles. In time this gathering became known as the Azusa Street Revival.
This revival was characterized by ecstatic spiritual experiences that included dramatic worship services, speaking in tongues, being slain in the spirit, alleged miracles, and interracial mingling. The inclusion of Blacks, Whites, and Hispanics at a time when rigid segregation was still in place throughout most of America was significant. It is reasonable to assume that the first overt attempt at the full integration of the races and the groundwork for interracial marriage was incubated within the rank and file and clergy of this Pentecostal movement, for it was among the first segments of American society to openly integrate the White and Black races.
The Pentecost revival in Los Angeles under the leadership of William J. Seymour and others (including Charles Parham) published a newsletter called The Apostolic Faith that was begun in 1906. This publication, which reached a press run of 40,000 copies by 1907, reported on the meetings known as the Azusa Street Revival. One edition in 1907 wrote, “One token of the Lord’s coming is that He is melting all races and nations together, and they are filled with the power and glory of God. He is baptizing by one spirit into one body and making up a people that will be ready to meet Him when He comes.”
There are no limits to the liberty that professing Christians have used in trying to defend interracial marriage from the Bible. Scripture verses have been taken out of context while others have been twisted and abused in every way possible to try and build the case for miscegenation. While circumventing and ignoring the over arching and prevailing view of racial purity, segregation, and separatism among the individually created races as found in the Bible, the defenders of miscegenation have searched every text in Scripture looking for a pretext to defend the mixing, amalgamation, and justification for interracial marriage. When these people are challenged they immediately want to employ the term racist or something even worse. They simply do not want to believe that the Bible does not endorse the mixing, amalgamation, and cohabitation of the races.
While millions of Americans focus on the unsettled world in Central Asia, the growing influence of China, and the resurgence of Russian imperialism, a silent killer is stalking the streets of America, working furiously, like a Trojan horse inside the city, to bring America into the dustbin of history. The silent killer that no one wishes to confront except in hushed tones, and then only with trusted friends, is the irreversible sin of race mixing. This insidious sin stalks the cities, towns, villages, and even the countryside of America as the “dumbed down” Anglo-Saxon fathers of this land give license to their fair daughters to link up with blacks and mix their DNA forever. It used to be that only black football, basketball, or baseball stars could claim white girlfriends, which was just as wrong. Now, however, they do not even need a job to get a white girl.
The sin of interracial mixing and marriage is proliferating beyond the wildest imaginations. The long-established moral guardrails that once prohibited this interracial mixing have long since disappeared as the fathers, preachers, educators, legislators, and judges have, for the past half century, opened the floodgates to the sin of miscegenation. Long considered the absolute moral compass of America, the Bible now has been declared irrelevant and archaic, no longer the voice of God’s absolute truth.
Families with long-standing, established Anglo-Saxon heritages have sacrificed and squandered their priceless racial heritage in the name of tolerance upon the altar of human ignorance. The blood of every race is poisoned by the sin of miscegenation as God’s original design for racial integrity within every distinct and separate race is destroyed.
The tidal wave of Mexican nationals and other third world aliens who have crossed our southern border, a large percentage of them young males with high testosterone levels, have filled America’s interstate highways, spilling into small towns looking for work of any kind. And work is not all they are looking for. Separated from their families, they are looking for female companionship and are finding it among the lower socio-economic classes, sometimes even into the middle and upper middle classes. What are they leaving behind but the evidence of their presence in an explosion of brown babies left in the arms of white welfare moms.
It is remarkable that only in recent decades have theologians and lay Christians attempted to use the Bible to support the sin of interracial marriage. For centuries, the separation of the races was so well established that people accepted segregation as simply a fact of human behavior. The existence of representatives from all the major racial types in the 21stCentury is vindication of and confirmation that racial segregation in marriage has been practiced from antiquity to the present. All the clearly separate and distinct racial types would not continue to be present if segregation and intolerance of race mixing had not been the long established pattern.
For centuries, Christians honored and respected the Bible as the absolute and inerrant truth of God revealed to His children on earth (Deut. 29:29). Professing Christians in America, regardless of their church affiliation, lived believing that the Bible endorsed and supported racial segregation in marriage, the family, and the church setting. In fact, using the Bible to support interracial marriage is something that was almost unheard of before 1950. Only when the floodgates of racial integration opened in the unfolding decades of the 20th Century was the sin of miscegenation defended from Scripture. A well-established historical record supports racial segregation in marriage, the family, and in worship not only in the United States of America, but also throughout Western European Culture. There is no neutral ground for the subject of interracial marriage, nor can it be said that exceptions can be made for interracial mixing while the prevailing rule forbids such practice. Interracial marriage must be declared wrong in all circumstances. Miscegenation is a violation of God and nature. Miscegenation is always morally wrong and represents an assault upon God’s original design for every distinct and separate race.
Important Reflections to Consider
It is necessary that we open the covers of the Bible and inquire about the subject of race. All of us have been influenced to varying degrees about this subject from a variety of stimuli to which our minds have been subjected. Therefore, it is necessary to underscore some basic premises regarding a biblical worldview as it pertains to this subject. Most people have established their belief about race on premises that may not be accurate. Consider some premises that are operating in the minds of most Christians in today:
Many professing Christians believe that Adam and Eve are the progenitors of all existing races on the earth. If you believe that all races are descended from Adam and Eve, with one common ancestral point of origin, the case for interracial marriage is already closed. However, if Adam and Eve are not the common progenitors of all races, but instead every race was created separately and distinct from the other, interracial marriage would be an assault upon God’s original design for every race. This study proceeds on the basis that Adam and Eve are the parents of one singular race alone. This premise is more explicitly established in our book Adam and Eve: Parents of One or Many Races? It is not possible to rewrite in this venue all the many arguments used to support the above thesis in the book. Suffice it to say that the biblical, historical, anthropological, and other proofs that establish Adam and Eve as being the progenitors of the white (Caucasian) race are irrefutable. Many have tried and failed. After all, that Adam and Eve were the progenitors of just one race was the prevailing view among the majority of Christians until the advent of Evolutionary Humanism in the mid-1800s.
Let me encourage you, reader, to study the above-mentioned book along with numerous others that support this thesis. Other titles that you may wish to review include the following: Did All Races Come from Adam by Lawrence Blanchard; The Origin of Mankind by Ambrose Fleming; Adam and the Adamite by Richard Bentley; Types of Mankind by J. C. Nott and George R. Gliddon; Anthropology by Dr. Paul Topinard; Not of One Blood by Charles A. Wiseman; and Preadamites by Alexander Winchell.
The Bible is written to, for, and about the human race, of which Adam and Eve are the parents. This thesis rejects this premise and proceeds on the premise that the Bible is written generally to, for, and about Adam kind (one and the same with the Caucasian race), and more particularly is the record of one family or branch of the Adamic race: Israel, the people descended from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the twelve tribes of Israel and their descendants. Genesis 5:1-2 establishes in precise language that the Bible is the record of Adam kind: “This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.”
That the Bible is the record of Adam kind alone: “When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the LORD’s portion is his people; Jacob (Israel) is the lot of his inheritance” (Deut. 32:8-9). When God distributed the landmass of the earth, He separated the children of Adam to their respective allotted areas and made one qualifying statement. He set the boundaries of this land distribution “according to the number of the children of Israel” for a good reason.
In the unfolding ages, the seed of Adam was to be greatly out-numbered by one particular branch of that race, Israel: “He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit” (Isaiah 27:6). The prophetic announcement upon Rebekah, wife of Isaac and mother of Jacob-Israel, was that she would become “the mother of thousands of millions” and her children would inherit and possess the strategic gateways of the earth. The offspring of Jacob-Israel would become one of the predominate peoples to occupy the earth.
It is significant that the regions in the Far East, lands historically occupied by the Oriental races, together with south Sahara Africa, historically have been the lands of various Black tribes or races. At the dawn of history the Creator allotted to the various races their respective portions of the earth. Since the Bible was written to, for, and about Adam kind, Israel in particular, the Bible references only these people whose ancestry is connected to this race.
A majority of professing Christians believes that from Noah’s three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, all existing races of the earth descended. This assumption rests upon the premise that all existing races of the earth descended from Noah and his sons. This thesis rejects this assumption and asserts that all three sons of Noah — Shem, Ham, and Japheth — were Adam kind (Caucasian) stock. No other races descended from them. To believe that all races descended from one man, Adam, or from Noah and his three sons following the Genesis Flood is a flagrant disregard of biological, genetic, biblical, and historical evidence and acknowledges the veracity of the foundational precepts of Evolutionary Humanism.
This thesis further proceeds on the premise that the Genesis Flood was a global event and that representatives of all races were aboard the ark. They all departed the ark and began reproducing themselves in their allotted regions of the earth. Again, this premise rests on an overwhelming body of biblical, historical, archeological, and anthropological evidence. This body of biblical and extra-biblical literature is voluminous and refutes any arguments used to defend a regional flood. The evidence available to support this premise is monumental and would require similar space to detail it.
Genesis chapter one provides detailed data for all the distinctive and separate races of the earth. This thesis cannot be supported from the narrative of Genesis one. Indeed, God created life forms, including the distinct and separate races; they are included in the narrative of Genesis one. What needs challenging is that Genesis supplies detailed and particular information about the creation of other races. Further, we understand clearly that God created all life forms in the ocean; yet only the whale is mentioned in particular in Genesis 1 (Gen. 1:21). Thus, we conclude that all the life forms — fowl, fish, animals, and races, are included in the Genesis narrative; but none of them is particularized. The several distinct and separate races are in the narrative of Genesis 1:25 under the term “living creature.” These individual races preceded the creation of Adam man (Genesis 1:26-27). The first physical body for Adam kind, the man Adam, was formed on the eighth day (Genesis 2:7). Yet, Genesis 2:5 clearly indicates there was not a man to cultivate the soil. This problem was resolved in Genesis 2:7 when God placed an implanted spirit within a physical body formed from the dust of the ground, and the first man (Aw-dawm man) was made a “living soul.” Man became conscious of his own being: “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Surely it is clear that this man had to be Adam, the federal head of the race of Adam kind.
Skin color is the only distinguishing difference between the races. This thesis rejects this premise and asserts that there are biological, mental, psychological, skeletal and physiological differences, including brain weight, size, and texture discrepancies, eye, nose, and facial distinctions, and blood type variances, that mark God’s original design for each separate race. Our marvelous Creator gave each race a distinct set of characteristics that make them unique. God then declared all life forms, including the various races, to be very good (Genesis 1:31). Every race bears the Creator’s original design. Each race, with its own unique set of characteristics, was created to fill a particular role in God’s created world.
God’s plan for all races is one and the same since they all descended from Adam and Eve. We reject this thesis and believe that God entered a covenant with Adam man, the federal head of the Adamic race (Genesis 2:15-17). This conditional covenant of works with its associated laws placed Adam man under God’s authority and responsible for executing obedience to the covenant and administering God’s law. Adam man was given lordship over the earth and was told to be fruitful, multiply, and exercise dominion over the earth and of all things therein. He was given liberty to freely engage in exercising free will and liberty with one exception: he was not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
In the exercise of his free will, Adam man could choose to obey or disobey His Creator. However, to disobey would mean forfeiture of conditional immortality and the resulting punishment: the curse of death. Disobedience would further result in the loss of dominion, and Adam man would then be obligated to struggle to achieve lordship and dominion of the earth. The liability for sin, i.e., transgression of God’s law (I John 3;4; Romans 3:20; 7:7) rests upon Adam and his posterity — not the other individually created races. The non-Adamite races were never placed under law and suffer no liability before God for sin. Never having been placed under covenant and law, they are not guilty for Adam’s transgression. They suffer in the same sense that everyone under a particular headship suffers when the person in charge comes under judgment. Adam’s sin resulted in the whole creation groaning and travailing under the weight of the broken world that followed his disobedience. As a consequence of Adam’s sin, the whole creation travails in pain: “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Rom. 8:22).
The non-Adamic races know God. Each of them worships the Creator in their unique manner. Representatives of each of the separately created races will be present in God’s restored Kingdom. Scripture declares, “all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever” (Micah 4:5). The manner in which the non-Adamite races approach God differs greatly. The non-Adamic races were to be blessed as they yielded to Adam man’s lordship. (Question: what race provides medical aid and comfort to the Negroid race in Africa suffering from the epidemics of AIDS, Ebola, and other plagues?) None of the non-Adamic races is under covenant or law; they are not liable for sin. “Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression” (Romans 4:15). “(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law)” (Romans 5:13). Death continues to reign over all the other races, even though they “…had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression…” (Romans 5:14). Moreover, Scripture tells us in Romans 3:19 “…that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law…” Moreover, Galatians 4:4-5 declares this: “…God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” No redemption was required for those not in servitude and bondage to sin. Adam and his posterity were under liability for sin; it is this race that is in urgent need of redemption.
Establishing Biblical Guardrails
The above premises are the biblical guardrails in any discussion of racial truth. Many Bible students and theologians are of the opinion that the foregoing premises placed a check on theologians of previous generations to challenge the intolerance of the general population of any given country toward interracial marriage. To remove these guardrails is to invite the ultimate downfall and even genocide of one or more of the distinctive races which God created. Because of the racial premises long held by the Christian community, the Western European peoples have consistently resisted the sin of interracial marriage.
We must clearly understand that throughout history, the separate and distinct races have remained essentially segregated — and this in spite of the fact that long established patterns of interracial mixing between the Arab slave traders and their enslaved African women existed (as well as other examples that could be cited). When the males from another races occupy foreign soil without their own wives, interracial mixing often results — even though such practices are considered morally unlawful and usually illegal. In the Far East, interracial mixing between indigenous Japanese and other races is absolutely unacceptable; the same is true in China to this very day. The 2010 Pew Research Center Report (U.S. Census Bureau’s 2010 American Community Survey) found that 15.1% of new marriages in the U.S. were between spouses of a different race. The 2008 Pew Research Survey found that more than a third of all adults (35%) say they have a family member married to someone of another race. The fact that America is so racially diverse can only mean a sharp rise in the growing number of interracially mixed couples. Consider that as late as 1935 and 1937, anti-miscegenation bills were introduced into sessions of the Washington State Legislature. In February of 1935, King County Representative Dorian Todd proposed House Bill No. 301: “A prohibition on marriages of persons of Caucasian ancestry to ‘Negroes, Orientals, Malays, and persons of Eastern European extraction’.” While this, along with a second attempt, failed to halt the sin of miscegenation, it demonstrates the widespread opposition to this sin that persisted in America.
Only in recent history have theologians begun to mount a biblical defense in favor of interracial marriage, and this in the face of a multicultural, racially diverse nation. Pastors and theologians are under severe pressure to build inclusive congregations in the midst of a racially diverse nation such as now exists. It is difficult to find theological evidence prior to 1900 that defends interracial mixing and marriage.
The irreversible and horrific impact of interracial marriage has yet to be acknowledged by 21st Century clergymen in the United States and elsewhere. The long-term, irreversible impact of interracial mixing will have enormous social, economic, and genetic implications for our future. If you truly want to see the future racial face of America, simply travel to Brazil, where you will find a blending of several races into one brown hue. And, this is happening in a country that once had anti-miscegenation laws in every state in the union except eight; only one state west of the Mississippi River (Washington) did not forbid interracial marriage.
Remnant Christians must waive all other considerations in their efforts to inform their children and youth of the absolute imperative of maintaining and preserving their racial integrity. This battle cannot be won when Caucasian sons and daughters are allowed to attend interracially mixed churches, public elementary and high schools, playgrounds, and other venues where friendship with other races is fostered.
A silent killer is stalking the streets of America, while millions are hard at work and going about their daily routines. This silent killer is invading their homes, schools, churches, and communities. Of course this killer does not advertise its lethal and genocidal danger. On the contrary, it comes clothed in approval, openly accepted as the new normal and just as welcome in the new America as pre-marital sex, abortion on demand, lethal birth control, men and women living together outside of marriage, use of marijuana, and embracing the despicable act of homosexuality as though it were a test of our tolerance and love. For the new America, everything that previous generations found abhorrent is fully acceptable. Should it be any surprise, then, that miscegenation, another term forinterracial marriage, is bringing genocide to White America and is even more common than the murder of unborn children? – Pastor Dan Gayman
Interracial marriage is more than a blight upon American society. Miscegenation is absolute assurance of the genocide of the White race, as well as every other pure race, in the United States. The last two generations in particular (approximately 1965-to the present) are endorsing wholesale race mixing. As miscegenation gathers momentum, fewer families remain untouched by interracial amalgamation. Almost any family you talk to has one or more racially mixed marriages in their extended family.
From Jamestown 1607 until Loving v. Virginia, 1967, (that’s some 360 years!), statutory law banned miscegenation in most states. The public at large considered miscegenation anathema. With the integration of the U.S. Military in 1948, public schools, colleges, and universities in 1954, and society at large with the Civil Rights law of 1964, America became fully integrated, with state-sponsored interracial marriage underway. Christians who were reluctant to tolerate interracial marriage soon became more open and tolerant, or were shamed into it, to the point that now it is rare to find a church that does not openly endorse or tolerate the interracial marriage.
For 360 years, then, Americans registered an emphatic “No!” to interracial mixing. Not so today. Anyone who dares speak against miscegenation is immediately labeled a racist, bigot, or worse. We are expected to be completely color blind, fully accepting of interracial marriage. At the same time, there is zero tolerance for those who hold to the biblical values and traditions of former generations. Anyone who deviates from the new normal, full acceptance of interracial marriage, is immediately labeled racist. Historically, the vast majority of the separate and diverse races have practiced segregation and considered interracial mixing harmful to all races. Remember that every individual, separate, and distinct race bears God’s mark of ownership. Every separate and distinct race, following the Law of Kind after His Kind enumerated ten times in Genesis one, was created for a definite purpose. Each race bears God’s original design in the function for which they were created. God had a purpose for every race He created, calling them all very good (Genesis 1:31). The sin of interracial marriage and amalgamation endangers every race — now and forever.
Interracial marriage results not only in the dilution of the blood of every race, but also irreversibly leads to the genocide of all participating races. Blending the races achieves nothing and forfeits God’s original design of God for all races. The historical trajectory for every nation and empire confirms that interracial marriage is the foremost enemy for enduring longevity. Every nation and empire on record begins with a homogenous people sharing a common culture of racial heritage, faith, and world vision. When this singular homogenous race begins to allow other races into its culture, amalgamation always follows. An historical autopsy of the nations of the ancient world demonstrates that when they ingested large numbers of foreign races into their homogenous racial body, their demise began.
What is the first symptom that their demise is beginning? First is a plunge in the birth rate. This leads to population displacement and creates a vacuum for other races to come in and fill. Secondly, immigration, whether legal or by illegal, opens the floodgates to an alien race that quickly mixes racially with the indigenous population. Over time, both races are hybridized into a racial blend, with the best of both races being lost. Third, the ravages of war introduce a foreign race into a once-homogenous nation. Fourth, interracial mixing occurs when that nation’s spiritual, moral, and integrity and responsibility to God are minimized and removed from the consciences of the people. Finally, least but not least, is the fact that when any nation or empire begins to bring in slave labor from another race, it always ends up with racial amalgamation, coming oh so slowly at first because there always seems to be a strong adverse reaction when the homogenous race crosses the barrier and permits any kind of racial mixing. Over time, however, the barrier is crossed enough that the people become calloused and insensitive to the problem, and the indigenous population surrenders to full blown miscegenation. In the end, the blood of the homogenous civilized race is diluted in genocidal race mixing. This is the current trend in America with state-sponsored interracial marriage.
Witness the results of Black slaves imported into Portugal, into the Arab population of Central Asia, or into the Caribbean sugar colonies operated by Great Britain, France, Spain, and Holland, and on into Central and South America. The first Blacks to arrive on English soil in North America did so in 1619, when twenty of them arrived as indentured servants. By 1640, Blacks were being imported and sold as slaves. Black tribal chieftains sold their own people into the hands of mostly Jewish slave traders. At the beginning of the American War of Northern Aggression (the Civil War) in 1860, America had fewer than four million Blacks. Today, that number has swelled to more than forty-four million.
It does not require a large number of slaves from a different race to eventually destroy a nation. In 1860, only 6% of the Southern population of the South owned slaves at the beginning of the Civil War. There is absolutely no solution in sight for the surging millions of unemployed, militant, largely illiterate Black male population. The urban areas are time bombs waiting to ignite and turn the cities into infernos of rioting, looting, and mayhem. This surging Black population is sustained by government welfare, food stamps, and government housing, all amounting to an enormous financial burden upon the tax-payers of the United States.
As late as 1900, even with the growing presence of the Black population in the U. S., the homogenous Caucasian population strongly resisted miscegenation. On into 1950 and beyond, interracial marriage remained unacceptable and intolerable. Statutory law in many states prohibited ministers solemnizing a marriage between a Black and a White, fining them up to a thousand dollars and jailing them for six months. This ban ceased in 1967, when nine ill-informed judges sitting on the U. S. Supreme Court thumbed their nose at God, desecrated the Bible, ignored six thousand years of history, and plunged this nation into a pathway of racial genocide.
Up until 1967, very few Americans questioned the biblical injunction against interracial marriage. Only on a rare occasion would a pastor use the Bible as a defense for pushing interracial marriage because there simply was no precedent for doing so.
Bible studiers had long been familiar with the Law of Kind after Its Kind, which operated in the plant world as well as within the separately created races. Animals instinctively follow kind after kind in reproduction. They do not need to be controlled or taught this instinct. God gave Adam kind the moral prerogative of using their conscience and moral choice in observing the Law of Kind after Its Kind. Remember that in God’s original creation, He carefully set the distinct races in particular allotments across the earth.
Remove the Blindfolds
May the Holy Spirit enable the blindfolds to be lifted and the Christian remnant in the U.S. and elsewhere throughout the Anglo-Saxon confederation of nations be inspired and absolutely convicted to refrain from any interracial mixing and marriage. May the God of Israel give His people hearts and minds convicted to follow the footsteps of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob and Rachel/Leah/Bilhah/and Zilpah. These are the patriarchal families and founders of the Celtic, Anglo, Saxon, Germanic, Scandinavian peoples of the earth. Consider and emulate the racial imperative they followed.
In His selection of a special people to be the recipients of His divine unconditional election, God chose Abraham from a covenant lineage whose racial pedigree (DNA) began with Adam and ended ten generations later with Noah — all in an uninterrupted, unbroken continuity of racial integrity (Genesis 5). Beginning with Noah, Jehovah worked through a line from Shem all the way to Abram (Abraham), another ten generations. This covenant line continued with Abraham, son of Terah. Abraham was the tenth patriarch in the generations that followed Noah. Abraham married Sarai (Sarah), his half sister, the daughter of Abraham’s father (Genesis 20:12). (At this point, the number of recessive genes was much less prominent than in later generations, so marrying one’s half-sister evidently did not propose a problem in one’s genetic disorder.)
As we remember, Isaac, the child of promise, was born in a miraculous manner when Abraham and Sarah were well beyond their days of normal procreation. Isaac later married Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel, Abraham’s nephew and the son of his full brother Nahor (Genesis 22:20-22). Jacob-Israel married Leah and Rachel, both first cousins and daughters of Laban, who was Rebekah’s brother (Genesis 29). Both Bilhah and Zilpah, concubines of Jacob-Israel, also descended from this covenant lineage. These three generations became the foundational racial stock from which God prepared a genetic seedbed to build the nation of Israel and the race that became known in modern history as the Caucasian race of Celtic, Anglo, Saxon, Germanic, Scandinavian and kindred peoples of the earth. It is readily apparent for all who have spiritual eyes to see that our sovereign God carefully guided the foundational stock of His covenant people to follow a selective pattern of marriage and reproduction in building the race through whom and for whom the Bible was written and whose footprints can be traced readily in history, anthropology, archeology, heraldry, etc. It should be no surprise that as touching the manhood of Jesus Christ, He arrived on earth as a racial kinsman to the same people He came to redeem!
Looking Back Across Time
Consider what God declares with regard to the various allotments of His earth for the separate races. These races were separated by oceans, mountain ranges, and other barriers. Consider this statement from Deuteronomy 32:7: “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.” What should we be able to ask our fathers and elders? The answer is found in Deuteronomy 32:8-9): “When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the LORD’S portion is his people; the lot of his inheritance.” From the early dawn of history Jehovah God called for the separation or segregation of not only the various nations springing from the Adamic creation but of all the other races not descended from the racial family of Adam. One particular branch of the Adamic race, namely Israel, was especially marked and set aside as being separate not only from the other branches of the Adamic family, but also from the other separate and distinct races. Further confirmation of Israel’s separation (segregation) is found in the historic words of Solomon: “For thou didst separate them (Israel) from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD” (I Kings 8:53). Following their exodus from Egypt, Jehovah recorded this in Exodus 33:16: “For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? Is it not in that thou goest with us? So shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.” Speaking of Israel’s separation from other peoples, God said this in Leviticus 20:24, 26: “…I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people… And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.”
Until recent times, theologians never used the Bible to argue against interracial marriage. In recent years, an increasing number of expositors have tried desperately, almost frantically, to reverse a doctrinal position that has been carved in historical and biblical stone for thousands of years and justify the sin of race mixing. Knowing there is absolutely no historical precedence for justifying the transgression of God’s law (I John 3:4) in this area, they have been desperate to cloak the sin of miscegenation in acceptable biblical and philosophical ways. Carefully scanning the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, the clergy have latched onto every potential example imaginable that might relieve their troubled conscience regarding what they innately know is absolutely wrong.
The Bible places a high premium on the integrity of every race. God’s original design for every race is immediately compromised through interracial mixing. It is an affront to God, His Word, His creation, and to both races. Race mixing is not only a violation of the law of nature, but of God’s own law requiring that everything reproduce in kind. The fact that there are people from every distinct race whose DNA features one race alone is because the people from whom they descended have practiced rigid segregation. A nation can recover from losing its constitution, from the ravages of war, and from other terrible misfortunes. However, it can never recover from losing its racial purity. Once the DNA is compromised in race mixing, it is irreversible. There is absolutely no recovery from the consequences of interracial marriage.
All of nature witnesses against violating the basic law of Kind after Its Kind. Every plant, tree, bird, and species of insects rigidly lives by this law. It is only when one examines the various races of people that we find this law being transgressed. Tragically, that which God ordained and was once rarely violated has become a growing phenomenon. Not unlike same-sex marriage, homosexuality, promiscuity, and every other transgression of God’s moral law, culture distorters have doggedly denied, repressed, and circumvented in every way possible the fact that God’s original design is assaulted every time two people of a different race unite under the guise of marriage, or as many do now, a “live in relationship.” From racially mixed unions emerge innocent children who grow up with a total “confusion of face,”never knowing where they belong in this world. They live in many cases with a life-long identity crisis, and it is shameful. Why is it shameful? Because two people think they know better than God and six thousand years of history and selfishly proceed to mix kinds. Apart from the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit, it seems unlikely that those whose minds have been corrupted with secular humanism and multiculturalism will be convicted of biblical truth. For those who have God’s law written into their hearts, the idea of interracial marriage is already abhorrent and repulsive. For those whose hearts have been hardened by our culture’s indoctrination, no amount of reason or biblical knowledge is likely to transform their minds. Those whose minds are sensitive to the Bible and the historical rise and fall of nations and empires will find it easy to see how interracial mixing is a primary factor in that nation’s decline and disintegration.
It was for this reason that God instructed the nation of Israel to avoid intermarriage with the nations of Canaan. When Israel prepared to conquer Canaan, God expressly warned them to avoid making a covenant with them or fraternizing with them in any way: “Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son” (Deut. 7:4). A generation after Moses died and Joshua brought Israel into the land of Canaan, this same warning was issued regarding any of the Canaanites who escaped death during the conquest of that land: “Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God. Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you…they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes…” (Joshua 23:11-13).
One of the statutes God delivered to His servant Moses was directed toward preserving worship in Israel from mixed race people: “A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD” (Deut. 23:2). The English word bastard is from the Hebrew root word mamzer and means mongrel or a person whose racial heritage has been corrupted (adulterated). Bastard in the Hebrew Old Testament has no relevance to the modern idea that a bastard is an illegitimate child. Once the DNA has been corrupted, it cannot be wholly purified, even to the tenth generation. For this reason, when ancient Israel heard God’s Word in Nehemiah, they separated from Israel all the mongrels: “Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.” Moreover, in a renewal of the covenant with Jehovah, Israel recommitted to avoiding interracial mixing, saying they “would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons” (Nehemiah 10:30).
When the Israelite remnant returned from the seventy-year Babylonian captivity, they did not always obey the law that forbade interracial marriage with non-Israelites: “…The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations… For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.”
Not only had the Israelites been corrupted by the pagan religious culture of the heathens surrounding them, but also they had violated the law against interracial marriage. This is confirmed by the fact that when Ezra led a reformation of the people out of this sinful state, he demanded that they put away the non-Israelite wives (or husbands) and that the mongrel children be excluded from the camp of Israel, along with the non-Israelite spouses. “Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law” (Ezra 10:3). The offspring of these interracial unions were sent away with the divorced spouse out of the camp of Israel because their DNA was compromised and corrupted.
The Doctrine of Baalam
The Doctrine of Baalam (Revelation 2:14) was the promotion and teaching the sin of interracial mixing by the Moabites and established in five chapters of the Old Testament (Numbers 22, 23, 24, 25, & 31). Not being allowed to curse God’s people Israel, the false prophet Balaam set about to instruct Balak, king of the Moabites, in how to corrupt the same people whom Jehovah protected and refused to allow to be cursed. It is significant that the warning given the angel of the church of Pergamos in Revelation 2:14 is applicable also to the church in every age, even the 21st Century. “But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.” The moral character of Israel was compromised with the idols of Moab, and their blood was diluted with interracial mixing.
Both the Old Testament and the New Testament speak one voice of unchanging, eternal truth. The New Testament commands racial purity just as certainly as the Old Testament. About A.D. 60, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, St. Paul declared this to the church at Corinth: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean things; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (II Corinthians 6:17, 28). The Corinthian Christians were warned not to be unequally yoked with the unbelieving heathen around them (II Co. 6: 14). Furthermore, they were warned not to engage in any sexual activity (interracial mixing) with these heathen.
The English word touch in II Corinthians 6:17 is from the Greek hap’-tom-ahee and means to attach oneself and implies sexual relations. This is confirmed when one examines St. Paul’s instruction on sexual relations in I Corinthians 7:1-2: “Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife…” The word touch here refers to having sexual relations apart from or outside of marriage.
To further confirm that touch refers to sexual relations, see Proverbs 6:29: “So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.” You can also confirm that the word touch refers to sexual relations by reading Genesis 20:6, where God restrained King Abimelech from touching (have sexual relations with) Sarah, Abraham’s cherished wife. The word touch is also used in Ruth 2:9 when Boaz, conferring with Ruth, promised her that he had “…charged the young men that they shall not touch thee…” It is clear that association with people of an alien religious belief would corrupt the purity and sanctity of their faith. Likewise, interracial mixing will dilute and forever corrupt their blood. The sin of interracial marriage is irreversible. It forever mars the blood, the heritage, and the people who indulge in this unspeakably tragic behavior. The consequences of race mixing reach as far as time and eternity!
Remnant Christians must know that God speaks unchanging words of truth from Genesis to Revelation. Truth is eternal. The truth of God will endure forever. His Word will judge us all at the last day (John 12:48). The same God Who created heaven and earth forbade interracial marriage. It was wrong two thousand years ago, it is wrong today, and it will be wrong forever!
